Blockform trees have several advantages. These trees are easy to maintain and can be kept within the desired dimensions, allowing them to support the architecture of a building as a higher structural element.
Our blockforms are available in standard sizes and custom sizes.
We have beamforms and cube shapes in a beautiful variety of sizes.
Slender beamforms or cube-shaped trees with unusual dimensions are also available.
In addition to the various dimensions of the cube-shaped crown, we also offer several stem heights.
Deciduous or semi-evergreen
Carpinus (hornbeam) and Fagus (beech) are very nice varieties to plant.
Evergreen block shapes
Quercus ilex and Osmanthus allow for the best results.

Hornbeam in block form.
Beautiful colors in summer and in winter. If you choose the deciduous hornbeam, this blockform also ensures a good result during the winter thanks to the beautifully sophisticated branch structure which remains visible. Of course we also offer this tree in our evergreen section.
The Carpinus betulus is extremely suitable in beam shape and cube shape. We offer block-shaped hornbeam in different models at various stem heights.
The hornbeam has an attractive trunk. We also grow these trees with beautifully twisted trunks.

In order to successfully integrate block forms in your garden, please contact our nursery.
We can advise which dimensions will give the best results, no matter how big or small your project is.

The Beech is available in green (Fagus sylvatica) and red (Fagus sylvatica 'Atropunicea') as a cube form, or as a block tree, just like the hedges.
Like the Carpinus, this tree easily retains its shape. The pruning of these trees is done at the same time as the hedgerow. Pruning should be done at least once a year.
We offer cube shaped beech in a container and with root ball. It is available in multiple stem heights.
Our blockform beech are always prepped to prevent sunburn.
During winter, the withered leaves remain on the tree. Because these cubehead trees tower above most hedges, they light up like golden lanterns in the low wintersun. Young and older trees are available.

The pin oak in block form is a nice variety in the range of blockform trees. This unique and healthy oak offers a nice contrast with most hedge structures. With its larger leaves and vibrant green color, it can provide a sleekly designed garden with a more playful touch.
Autumnal colors make this shape stand out and influence the color palette of the garden in a surprising way.
Pin Oaks we grow in block shape are selected for their marscessant properties, just like our pleached pin oaks.
Available in multiple selections.

Blockform or cube-shaped Holm oak or kermes oak.
Blockform holm oaks are usually applied in beam form.
The holm oak is particularly suitable for smaller gardens or where low maintenance is desired. Regular holm oaks soon take up a lot of space and require a lot of maintenance in smaller gardens.
The tree responds well to pruning and displays its special gray-green tint throughout the year. This unique colour is due to fine shoots on the outside of the blockform.
The silver-gray underside of the leaves use light to accentuate this blockform.

It provides a nice contrast with deciduous trees and shrubs, especially in winter.

Important in blockform holm oaks is that no metal or iron fittings are used in the forms.

This evergreen cube-shaped tree is easily maintained and grows modestly as a tall-stemmed blockform.
This block shape changes colour in spring and shortly after each pruning.
The green blockform becomes a red one, thus immediately changing the atmosphere in its surroundings.

Also this: wrens and tits like to spend the night in this tree as well as in Quercus ilex because they are safe and snug behind the evergreen and ever fresh leaves.

We grow Liquidambar as blockform or beamform in several sizes. In addition to the standard models, we also offer more unique creations.
By choosing this tree you are making a choice for texture and color. Our Liquidambar blockforms provide a nice alternative to the liquidambar spheres such as Liquidambar 'Gumball'.
During selection we're always looking for deeper autumnal colours, a unique approach with the goal of always delivering beautiful trees. We always retain the natural properties of the trees without grafting them.
Liquidambar demands little from the soil and is suitable for wet soils. For more information about this tree, click hier.
The sweet gum blockform is very maintenance friendly. Click on the picture.
